Gold Futures End With a Loss on Stronger Dollar

Gold futures ended with a loss on Monday, with strength in the dollar putting pressure on the dollar-denominated precious metal. The greenback found support as the British pound touched a 20-month low after a highly anticipated vote on U.K.'s exit from the European Union was postponed. President Donald Trump said Ivanka Trump could become American Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, if there was no question of nepotism, AFP news agency reported.

A few hours earlier Trump suddenly announced the resignation of Ambassador Nikki Haley later this year.

"We are looking for a few inches," he told reporters without dismissing the possibility of appointing his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

President Trump often raises questions because it often has no clear boundaries between relatives, family business and official duties since he was elected in 2016.

Ivanka and confusing Jared Kushner both work in the White House as high-level without pay. Jared Kushner, an orthodox writer, the process of making Middle East peace.

Shortly there after, via Twitter, Ivana Trump dismissed, called, sent, requested, as the US Ambassador to the United Nations.

"Serving the White House together with extraordinary colleagues is honorable. And, I know that the president will nominate an extraordinary candidate for Ambassador Haley's touch. "His replacement (lost Haley) is not me," Ivanka said in a chat on Twitter, Tuesday (9/10).
