Saham Asia mendekati level tertinggi 20 bulan pada hari Senin karena Wall Street melanjutkan rekor puncaknya pada data ekonomi AS yang solid serta tekanan likuiditas dari Federal Reserve.

Harga minyak melonjak karena ladang minyak di Libya barat daya mulai ditutup setelah pasukan yang setia kepada Khalifa Haftar menutup jalur pipa, yang berpotensi mengurangi produksi dalam negeri hingga sebagian kecil dari level normal.

Omset awal di saham Asia ringan dengan pasar saham dan obligasi AS ditutup untuk liburan Martin Luther King Jr.

Indeks MSCI dari saham Asia Pasifik di luar Jepang menguat 0,1%, setelah mencatatkan penutupan tertinggi sejak Juni 2018. Nikkei Jepang menambahkan 0,2% mendekati level tertinggi dalam 15 bulan.(yds)
