Tokyo stocks opened lower on Monday amid lingering geopolitical worries including the diplomatic fallout from the death of a Saudi journalist and ahead of corporate earnings report season. Shooting at Kentucky School Kills Two, Injures Others

Two people were killed and 12 others wounded in a shooting Tuesday at a high school in the southeastern U.S. state of Kentucky, according to Governor Matt Bevin.

Bevin said the suspected shooter was a 15-year-old boy who was apprehended at the school and will face murder and attempted murder charges. A 15-year-old girl died on the scene and a 15-year-old boy died at a hospital.

Bevin said he believed all of the victims were students.

The shooting occurred at Marshall County High School in the city of Benton in western Kentucky.
